The old one room school house in the old town of Victory just west of Altus is reported to be haunted by some of the older people that know the story. It seems that a young student hung himself in the bell tower.
After which they soon closed the school down. It was in total disrepair when I was young and I am now 40. I was a young kid when I heard the story from my father that went to school there just before they closed it down.

He told me the kid's name that hung himself but too many years have past for me to recall it. I did investigate the school house at night when I was a young man and I must say there was some very odd sounds and whispers that night.

I think that Navajo Street itself is haunted. The reason I say this is because every time I drive on Navajo Street I feel depressed and gloomy and a feeling of hopelessness comes over me. All of the houses on Navajo Street are so old and are very small too.
