I have never spent much time in the area of Burns Flat Oklahoma, but there are a lot of stories about ghosts and the supernatural that I recall hearing. Most of these ghosts are suppose to be of men who lost their lives during world war-2 and was stationed at Burns Flat for training at some time.

And there is suppose to be a ghost of an Indian warrior riding a pale horse. The warrior and the horse are very skinny and are suppose to have starved to death for some reason or other. I recall hearing a story about a house that disappears and reappears every 50 years.

A friend of mine told me that she once lived in a house there that had a haunted fireplace. I find that very strange but she was very scared of the fireplace and the house. I don't know if any of these ghost stories are true or not but thought they were worth mentioning. Submitted by J
