I go to Calera and the is no such thing as the underground gym it is the same High School gym we play in now the reason it is called the underground gym is because it was sort of sitting in a pit.

Comment by Jared: There was an underground gym. My father was in the class of 59 and he helped work on the new gym when it was being built. As for it still being there they did fill it in. My friends mom was just telling us a story when she told us it was still there for storage.

Don't want to kill your story but I have lived in Calera my entire life also my parents and grandparents an the underground was never used for stoage. When they built the new gym in the 50's it was filled in with dirt and never used again.
People say they hear things in the new gym guessing because it is on top somewhat of the old gym. The old gym is actually a little more north from the new gym. But I do know people hear things a lot.
