Years ago, I spent time with relatives who occupied the white cemetery house which is surrounded on two sides by Greenlawn Cemetery. I was up late one night to get a drink when I saw something out of the corner of my eye in the kitchen window. I walked over to look and was greeted by the sight of an old man. He appeared to be nearly skeletal but was dressed in what seemed to be a new suit. He faced me and gave the impression that he was looking at

me.
I say gave the impression because his eyes were closed. Scared me silly. I ran and woke my uncle. He quickly dressed and went outside with
|
me following closely. My uncle said ''there he goes,'' pointing to one of the small cemetery roads. He was moving fast, so my uncle jumped in his truck and went after him. He returned five minutes later and had a confused look on his face. I asked what happened. He said the guy disappeared at the end of the road at a burial site. He said there had been a burial at that site that very morning. I never spent the night with them again.
