When I lived in the C.G. Apartments, building 112 apartment H back in Jan of 2014 I had 2 shadowy ghosts. The smaller one of the two would run back and forth from the kitchen to the living room. I named him Zippy. Then the taller one would stand in the corner of the living room with his arms crossed and just stare at everyone. I named him Grumpy. The kids would see them and get a little scared but they never bother me. My neighbors next door had some ghosts also but they were mean and would try to hurt the kids; that was apartment G.

Although I never grew up in Collinsville my mother worked at the local nursing home there. I remember on nights that my mom would have to work me and all the other nurses children would sleep in the chapel of the nursing home.
We would freak ourselves out but nothing ever actually happened. Then when I was old enough to volunteer at the nursing home I realized that that place had a strange and creepy feeling to it at night.
The staff would refuse to go down the hallway next to the kitchen because they would hear creepy noises. I was sort of a skeptic to the mysterious haunted tales of the place but one night changed my whole opinion on ghosts.
