My sister was alone and had a box thrown at her. I would be in bed and hear something come halfway up the stairs and stop. Our dog was always scared and hid behind the back of the toilet of the back bathroom.
Luckily we didn't stay long.

My freshman year at the Duncan High School I had a weird experience in the auditorium. I knew about the janitor having a heart attack on stage but I never really thought about until that day. I was going on stage to get a prop for something we were doing in class.

I was the only one in there and we weren't using the stage so of course the lights were off and that didn't bother me at all. There's multiple curtains on our stage so there's poles and chains and what not but those things are pretty heavy.

Anyways, I was getting the prop when I heard foot steps. Not being far from the class I blew it off as nothing. Then I heard what sounded like metal on metal and then chains I looked up toward the sound and saw one of the curtains swinging slightly.
I thought that was very strange but I just went back to my class. From what little light showing through the doorway I noticed a shadow behind me. That's when I thought about the janitor Hershal.
I said 'hello Hershal' and it faded away.

Comment by Marko: It was an old man at an end of school awards ceremony. He and some other presenters were seated on the stage facing the audience, and he looked like he dozed off. They picked up the seat and all and carried him off stage. We heard later the gentleman had passed, but a man did die on that stage. If he is haunting it, he is harmless. This was probably 1974.
