My wife and I bought our first house in the 1500 block of S. Miles in 1996. The wife of the previous couple who lived there died of a brain aneurism in the bathtub. I didn't think anything about it. We had three daughters while we lived there. One Friday night after we lived there about four or five years, I woke up and saw a monk standing next to my bed. He was standing in profile, and I could see every detail of his face and clothes even though it was

At first I thought I was dreaming, so I closed my eyes tight and re-opened them. He was still there. He was bald on top but had

hair around his ears. He also had grey beard on his jaw line. He had a sharp hawk nose. And strangest of all, he was wearing glasses. They were old-fashioned, thick-frame round glasses. I got the impression the frames were made of wood. I could tell he was a monk because he was wearing a monk's robe with the hood down in back. I stared at him for what seemed like minutes then closed my eyes and went back to sleep. I wish I would have reached over and shaken
