My husband is in the Air Force and came to Enid for training at Vance. We prefer to live off base, so we found a nice 3-bedroom brick house in a small neat neighborhood behind the Atwoods. We loved the location and the neighborhood. Our neighbor was an Enid police officer, and the rent was very reasonable. Shortly after we moved in though, weird things started happening around the house. Our TV would come on by itself; things would be moved when we came home. The sink would burst on full blast suddenly. Our closet doors would open by themselves in the middle of the night. We often heard booming and very heavy movement up in the attic that would cross the entire house. The bad part was the general feeling in the house. It was one of gloominess, heaviness, and angry foreboding.
