From that day on I had not worked or conducted any kind of duty there because of the accounts I relayed to my company commander. I now live in Elgin and have not been back to Fort Sill in over ten years. I do not believe this building is even being used anymore as far as I know, and I have no intention of finding

out either.

I visited the old guard house with my 6-year-old daughter in 1992. My husband was stationed at Fort Sill. I love American history and wanted to find out everything about Fort Sill. When we got to the guard house there was no one inside. We walked around then went downstairs to the cells. It was dark and creepy, and after a couple of minutes the air changed, and it got really cold. I said to my daughter ''let's go''. I got a few steps ahead of her and started up the stairs when my daughter yelled ''mommy!'' I turned to see my daughter falling backwards, so I ran down and picked her up. I asked her what happened, and she said she was pulled from behind, and I could feel an evil presence. I picked her up, and we ran out of there. I never believed in ghosts or things like that, but after that I am a believer.
