Comment by S.A.D.: Fort Sill is a very haunted place. Places like Fort Sill where so many tragic things that have happened in the past to our Native American brothers and sisters anything can be haunted. Not only buildings but the very ground itself. Take the time to dig into the tragic history of Fort Sill ,and you'll know what I'm talking about. Some things just can't be explained away concerning abuse that happened there to many Native Americans.
Comment by Nicola: Can you elaborate on this? I live in Buffalo Soldier Acres and just discovered that there is a large Comanche cemetery on the airfield across the road. Wondering if this could be the reason?.

At home on Chickasha Road on the Old Post Quadrangle my best friend Ashley was home on a Sunday with our friend Garrett and her mom. The three of them were sitting around the dining room table all casually going about with their own activities. Garrett was playing guitar while Ashley read the lyrics off of her phone. The music suddenly stopped, and Ashley looked up to inquire as to why Garrett had stopped playing and saw that both she and her mother were staring incredulously at the laundry room door. They quickly filled her in and told her that the door handle had jiggled and turned, and the door had swung open.

The next day, Monday, Ashley was up until about two in the morning with some school stuff. When she finally fell asleep she felt something pulling on her leg. Thinking it was her cat, she reached down to swat it away and turned back over to sleep. It was right then that she was pulled off her bed the length of her room. Her mom came in shortly after upon hearing her scream. On the next day, Tuesday, Ashley, Garrett and I were headed out to dinner. After locking up the dog I stepped over the gate that was up for the animals in the house. As I was doing so, I handed Ashley her guitar to set on the table when a distinct jack-in-the-box noise started. I paused for a moment before pushing my two friends to the side and legitimately bolting out the door. Ashley and Garrett soon followed at my heels after realizing what I heard.
Eventually, we headed back in the house to lock it up and finally went out. After going through the house there was an undeniable presence, and the house was completely silent. I am not one to act on impulse, and I like an explanation for EVERYTHING. I know for a fact that I heard that noise, and my friends completely heard it as well, clear as day. I have no doubt that there is something of the paranormal sort in the house.
