The railroad tracks at Headrick, Oklahoma is reputed to be haunted. In the early 1950's two teenage boys were walking on the railroad tracks just west of Headrick with shotguns to do some rabbit hunting.
One of the teenage boys happened to trip on the railroad tracks causing his shotgun to fire. The shot hit the other boy in the head killing him instantly. On early foggy mornings just before sunrise the ghostly figures of the two teenage boys can be seen walking the railroad tracks talking and laughing.

The ghost of a little girl about eight years old is sometimes spotted on the same railroad tracks running and crying. It is believed the little girl may have died from being hit by a train many years ago. .

The old bridge east of Headrick, Oklahoma is haunted by a young girl and her baby. According to legend a young unmarried girl found herself pregnant and was very depressed. She did not have any close friends she could trust, and was very afraid to tell her parents.
