Never go to sleep with any kind of red light on because it attracts all kinds of weird spirits. I once went to sleep with a red light on also and got a horrible shock. For some unknown reason I opened my eyes in the middle of the night and saw a weird freaky looking thing with a big head looking in at me through the window.
I was so terrified that I couldn't move and so I shut my eyes and then opened them a few seconds later but what ever it

was had left. Something like this will never let you forget about it no matter how many years have passed.

The babbs switch story comes from a horrible fire that happened one Christmas decades ago. There were many people in the one room school house for a party. Someone bumped the Christmas tree and a candle caught it on fire.
The doors opened to the inside. The rush of people trying to get out prevented the doors from opening. The windows had been nailed shut because of vandals. Dozens of people perished. Everyone in the school house suffered a horrible death.
From that event federal law mandates that doors on public buildings open to the outside.
