I live in Kingfisher and lived here several years. I am also a paranormal investigator. Several of these stories are bunk, about Kingfisher. The engine driver is just a story, nothing more. Here is the reason.
Shaw Park is quite a long distance from the nearest railroad track. Even if I go back as far as I can with the maps of Kingfisher. There are no railroad tracks even coming close to Shaw park. In the 25 years I have lived here.

I have never heard of this story and checked it out with several people who live next to the park, and none of them have ever heard/seen anything even coming close to this story. As far as the person walking down the highway and walking past a building.

No stories of that happening to anyone else. I do a lot of research around here looking up old stories and stuff related to paranormal happenings. Now there are a couple of stories here I have heard about, but have yet to get the chance to investigate them.
Due to the fact that floods have messed up several houses. As I learn more I will post. .
