We lived on NE Cimarron Trail for about 8 years. While lying in bed you could look at the bottom of the closed bedroom door and see the shadow of footsteps passing. The first time I saw I thought someone was in the house, so I tore out of bed to go get whoever it was, but the house was empty. This happened on a regular basis. My recliner in the family room was facing down the hall toward our bedroom, and I would see a figure walk out of another bedroom and into the bathroom next to the bedroom. The toilet would flush and then nothing. A couple of hours later it would do the same thing till bed time.

Comment by Jolene: Not far from that area is the abandoned Ft. Sill Indian school. Lots of spirits there that may have attached themselves to local houses in the area. Our friend lived in that area around 2000 and kept hearing drums at night by the creek with men singing what she thought were Indian songs.

Hi I live in Lawton OK. And I have heard a lot about a murder called the ''Hayter'' murder. I'm not really sure if that's how you spell it but the ''Hayter murder'' was said to have happened here in Lawton, Oklahoma but I've been searching for information on the murders for years and I haven't found anything yet.
I was also told the Hayter family was buried in Highland Cemetery but I didn't find their graves. Please let me know if you have any info on the Hayter house. Thanks.
