We moved away, and thank God we did. That room was very cold. Sometimes we felt a presence. Anyway, thanks for this opportunity to tell this story. It was so horrible. .

I have a very good job with the city of Marietta, Oklahoma. I don't want to endanger it. I was doing my job at almost midnight near the corner of 5th and Seminole and there standing next to a tree was a man dressed in odd clothing and a beat up old hat.
As I approached him to see why he was standing there he simply disappeared in front of my eyes. For a few strange seconds it seemed like every sound and every movement stopped as he disappeared. The hair on my neck stood stiff and the coldest breeze I have ever felt on a hot summer night whispered a mournful sigh.
I am not a ghost believer. But whoever or whatever that figure was convinced me there are things that we humans do not understand about our world.
