My family lived in Martha a long time ago. My mom's boyfriend was a drunk and beat our mother several times. Until one night a shadow man figure started spooking my mom's boyfriend out. When he would get aggressive the radio would blast on as loud as it would go.
Lights would flicker when he started breaking things and when he would start walking to our room to beat on us the door would slam in his face and he couldn't open the door like someone was

holding it shut...
There was no lock on the door. Soon he went mad and called us witches. He took off and we never heard from my mom's boyfriend again.

I don't remember much of it but my sister and brothers remember more than I do and they tell me the stories all the time.
I guess not all ghosts are bad... If that ghost hadn't protected us he might have seriously hurt us!.

Comment by 4-M: Ghosts have been known to intervene when least expected. I was told how a ghost intervened once when a young lady was falling. The ghost caught her in mid air and then gently put her on her feet standing up. I truly believe there are evil ghosts and there are loving ghosts.
