He told me that people were always smashing a finger while changing a tire getting stung by fire ants tripping and falling for no reason at all getting headaches or backaches etc. Etc. Uncle John went to put some tar on the roof one day to stop a leak and the ladder fell trapping him on top of the old station. My uncle swears that he actually heard the old building giggling and snickering to it's self. My uncle died five years ago in Nashville but

I lived in Martha for almost a year and in Jackson county for 21 years the bridge didn't collapse until a few years ago when a dump truck drove across that weighed too much. It is 2010 now and the bridge was rebuilt right before Christmas 2009. I have been on the bridge 100 times and never seen nothing but if you want a scare go check out the old cemetery on the east side of Martha. Submitted by Dustin
