About a block from this house. A very small convenience store across street from the play area park. We moved from that very haunted house back in 1967-68. Rent was cheap but nobody stayed 6 months.
Little children haunted it and my two boys age 6 months and 2 were nearly killed. My baby was in a Walker and shoved into a kiddie pool.. Upside down my 2 year old was trapped in a hot car .... He couldn't reach door handle to get in it or roll up the manual

Does anyone have any info on a house at 60x E Monroe? I am having some very scary experiences in the house and have caught some orbs on camera and strange sounds. Also my dog has been seeing things as we'll and acting way out of character so I would greatly appreciate any info any one might have to help explain this. The story of 1896 is true, but there is a house on East Madison that is haunted by a man in overalls somewhat like what the old time train workers wore. The house was owned by my friend and her husband for years, and she always told me it was haunted. I did not believe her. I would hear noises upstairs but passed it off as an old house creaking and groaning, but to be honest I got weird vibes from the upstairs and avoided it as much as possible.
