Comment by Laura: I was there when the DV shelter was right above the daycare center and I was told that the floor that we were on used to be the maternity ward. We would hear babies crying all throughout the night and children bouncing balls at 3 or 4 am in the morning.

I want to tell you about the ghost of a Madison Street house- this is not just my experience but many have heard and felt things. Several young children have seen him when no one else can. I have been touched by him in a comforting manner, but he does not like stress or fighting in the home as he will stomp and throw things. My friends who lives in the home tells of smells and pressure on her bed as if someone sitting on the edge of the bed- she also relates of hearing the man tell a voice outside her bedroom window to go away. When she went to window she could see a black outline, and smell women perfume from olden days. But the shadow and voice were threatening and scary, the male spirit would not let her in- I have seen shadows move across the doorway and heard walking upstairs with no one up there.
