I was there one Sunday evening relaxing and enjoying the beauty of the place, when suddenly the figures of two small Indian boys formed in the air just a few feet from me. The two Indian children began running and playing with each other.
I could even hear them laughing while playing, and suddenly they vanished just as quick as they had appeared. I have never mentioned this to anyone before.

West of Medicine Park, on the refuge of the Wichita mountains, there is a cobblestone cabin at the base of Eagle Mountain. There is a trail that starts from the cabin and takes you east to west Cache creek.

Upon arriving to the creek I clearly saw an old man panning for gold. This is illegal on the refuge. His clothes were tattered. He had a long gray beard and bushy gray eyebrows. As I got closer he heard the rocks beneath my feet, and as he looked up he saw me and very slowly vanished.
I admit the hair on my neck stood up. I took a picture but nothing showed up in it. I ran all the way back to my car scared to death. I've been back twice now and have not seen anything since. This sighting happened in March of 2008.
