I was in the old jail and I had my EVP recorder with me and I start recording. I ask ''is this an old jail? '' no response. Then I ask ''what's your name? '' I hear ''John'' when I review that part.
Then I ask ''what did they do to you here? '' I hear ''they hung us. '' then finally I ask ''what did you do? '' I hear ''we killed them. '' this was in the middle of the night.

Comment by Tom: Medicine Park wasn't incorporated until 1969. There wasn't EVER a municipal jail in the town. Prior to the incorporation, it would have been Comanche County jurisdiction.
Therefore ANYONE arrested would have been brought to the Comanche County Jail, not a Municipal Jail that didn't exist because there wasn't a municipality prior to 1969. During the 1970's and 1980's Medicine Park did on occasion have part time Police Departments. But they also (just like today) send all prisoners to the Comanche County Jail.
I am not doubting the truth of seeing ghosts, but I am the current Police Chief and I have been working there in Medicine Park since 2002. I worked the night shift only from 2007 till 2013 when I became Police Chief. I have been in every reported building with ghost sightings LATE at night by myself while answering alarm calls.
Every single one of them was explained by a door not being secured by exiting employee's who left the buildings at closing. I NEVER seen nor heard anything unnatural or unexplainable.
Again, I'm not saying that I'm a skeptic or a non-believer, but I've been working there a LONG time and NEVER seen anything supernatural. .
