I have lived in my house in Miami for about a year and a half. Beginning on the day I moved in the back door began slamming on it's own (it was always shut and most of the time locked as well). I started putting my vacuum cleaner and carpet shampooer in front of it at night because the slamming would shake the whole house.
The slamming stopped after that but then items (nick-knacks) would get thrown across the kitchen sometimes into the other room. At night we hear what sounds like children running through the house and the footsteps end at the foot of our bed and the bed feels like someone has just run into it.

We do have children of our own but they are always sound asleep in their beds when this occurs. On a few occasions my husband and I have woken up thinking the other had made breakfast because we could both smell eggs bacon and toast...

No breakfast though. My daughter (who is grown and lives across town) was going to stay with us one night and left abruptly in the middle of the night because the activity kept waking her. There are other things that happen as well some of which scare the children at times.
I have taken pictures of orbs and mist figures and what looks like a skeleton hand print twice the size of anyone's hand that my 6 year old saw appear on the bathroom mirror. If anyone has any advice please reply.
Blessing and crossing the doorways with oil worked for a little while but after about a month activity came back stronger than before.
