My father was a recruiter out of the old armory there for many years. Most of the time he would be by himself. This place is truly haunted. My brother, father, and myself have had several experiences there, and so have most of the men that were in that unit. It was 1 / 179 infantry unit that was stationed there. I have slept the night there several times when I was little with my dad and have seen and heard things that have truly terrified me.

one account I was in the bathroom just off the main hallway downstairs, and I heard someone open the door and walk in. I immediately froze knowing I was

the only girl there. and when I gathered the nerve to walk out of the stall no one was there. Several times you can hear kids playing ball on the drill hall floor.
When you walked into the room no one would be there.
I remember my father telling a story about how some of the men were upstairs in the old ''god squad'' room. They were spending the night for the drill the next morning when suddenly they were awoken by the sound of a woman screaming.
