I have lived in the Wheatland and Bridge Creek area for about five years now. I am accustomed to strange unexplained things happening here from time to time. About two years ago I was driving home from getting groceries I would guess it to be around 11:00 pm. Being a pretty rural area I was not shocked to notice what I thought to be a cow out of the fence along the road. As I continued to get closer; however, I realized the animal was actually a substantially

large dog. I reluctantly kept driving toward it, and in the few brief seconds before I passed it the animal turned and glared as though it had not noticed
|
my presence before. I saw a long slender dog face with notably bright eyes and what appeared to be a mane around the neck and shoulders. At this same instant, and I say this with the absolutely most integrity and honesty, the dog stood up on its hind legs and looked as if it were going to step forward into the road.
There was a sense of ominous aggression and the fear I felt was overwhelming. I passed within feet of the animal. I drove as fast
