I lived in a haunted house in Okarche for more than 10 years. It is the old hunter house on Kansas ave. I don't think the hunter's ever left. My family and I witnessed unexplained occurrences on numerous occasions.

I believe that anybody can have an experience with the living dead if they only listen. I do know some stories that I heard growing up or investigated with High School friends... Like the glowing tomb stone, or monster bridge.

Okarche is a German settlement town with a strong history. I'm sure there are spirits that walk Main Street and down the dirt roads... There are many old homes. The loosen house being on e of them and the Catholic church along with the building that once housed the nun's.

The church is over 100 years old.
