I use to have a friend Katelynn that lived on South 4th Street in Okemah. I grew up about 4 houses down. I would go to stay the night at her house, everything was fine until night time. Once her parents where in bed we would stay up most of the night playing and raiding the fridge.
We walked to the fridge and hear creaking noises. The main thing we saw were the doors in the house that were locked would unlock with a loud click. We didn't notice the doors were unlocked until one morning.
We had always thought the house was just making noise from the house being old. Several times the locked doors had slammed in the middle of the night and windows would be opened. Katelynn said one night she saw a bluish light coming from her closet.

I never witnessed it but she had a bunk bed and it did shake violently once, waking us up the same night we heard all the doors in the upstairs area slam. I was told years later the house was built in the 1940's but I have not found anyone else that has had this happen.

Katelynn did pass away in the house in 2002 from a heart defect. So if you currently stay there or someone you may know please let me know and post on this website. Also I moved to Wisconsin in 04 and have not been back there since Katelynn's passing.

Comment by anonymous: It was a really old house, two stories and I think it may have had a guest house behind it. I really can't remember the address, sorry. Why though do you know of someone that may live here? And if so is the same things happening to them?.
