A few years ago my family and I moved to a new house. The house is near the rodeo grounds. When we first moved in, my dad claimed to see a woman go from the sun room to the garage. He said she was a ghost and seemingly non-threatening. For a little bit there we thought that too because our interactions with her were seemingly innocent, for example, when we were unpacking in the bathroom and she started to flip through the pages in a Bible.

longer we lived there, the clearer it became she was not non-threatening. She rarely did anything to my dad (to my knowledge). She (we named her Melissa)

would knock things over, rearrange furniture, and even bruise our visitors. Our animals reacted to her presence as well, and she would make us ill. She would knock glasses over, and they would break. We woke up to the furniture in our family room being displaced even though we all reassured each other we didn't do it.
We would also sometimes hear the furniture being moved even though we were all in our rooms. My sister came over to check out
