Lady in white seen by many people at Mabee-Gerrer Museum in Shawnee, OK. When I worked there part time at St Gregory's, part of my duties included cleaning up the then new theatre next morning after previous nights performances. The theatre was built adjoining the museum. Once I had a 15-minute conversation with what I thought was a student or faculty member while cleaning up in front of stage. As other students and faculty arrived to do their morning equipment checks she lifted off the floor. She floated up a stairway to the catwalk over the stage brushing past set ropes and chains as she went.
The first guy through back door was followed by two female students. He saw her briefly, and all three saw the ropes and chains moving. He asked me who was up there. I told him a lady in white. He said ''Oh, her. That's ok then. '' The gals asked who it was, and he told them it was just the museum ghost paying them a morning visit. The gals bolted and refused to come back until he and I checked to make sure she was gone. I saw her several times after in and out of both buildings. I just waved to her and went about my business. The old convent building is also haunted by several nun's ghosts but that building is not accessible to the public.

Comment by Casey: My wife worked at the aerobic center there and also had to clean the theater as well. And often would hear somebody wondering around whistling but knew she was the only person there.

My grandmother used to live on Chapman Avenue when I was younger. I'm 48 now and she has been gone for quite a while. I remember one night after everyone had gone to bed. She had a 2 bedroom house. There was one room in the front and the second room was next to the den.
My cousin and I were asleep on the bed in the den and I remember waking and seeing something dressed in white walking from the living room into the den and sitting at my grandmothers sewing machine and just stared out the window.
