So does anyone know what happened at the first house on Bowman Drive in Alvin? Creepy feeling of being watched has occurred, and it's an older house. Also what is the history of the Deer Trails Subdivision? Any houses built over cemeteries here?. Submitted by Rox

Here in Alvin I sometimes stay with my grandma. She used to have a husband named Richard. My grandma said that he died in the house. One night in my room (my sister and I share a room) my sister said she heard breaking glasses and footsteps near her bed. I looked up, and I saw a masculine face near her bed.

I have no doubt my dad's house is haunted. We moved to Alvin in May of 89. We lived in an apartment till my dad found a house in 93. I didn't like the location. It's blocks away from Oak Park Cemetery. We move in, and immediately I am uncomfortable. I felt as if I was being watched. I heard unexplained noises, and in my bedroom my dog would stand there and bark at the corner in my bedroom. I was asleep in my bedroom and awoke to a female talking softly. I was listening thinking it was mom, and I happened to look over at my chair, and I saw a woman sitting there. I flipped on my lamp she was gone.
Also you can sit in the living room and see figures out of the corner of your eye walking in the hall and even in the dining room. I had a friend who would stay the night, and he'd laugh at my stories about ghosts. One day my parents were out of town. When I would be left alone, I'd either have a friend or girlfriend stay with me. If that couldn't be arranged, I would turn on every light and every TV with the hope I wouldn't see or hear anything. So my friend was in the living room while I was in the kitchen. I walked in the living room, and he looked pale like he was sick. He asked me to take him home. I thought he was sick, but I'd learn soon enough that's not what was wrong.
