We called my mom from her room, and she came out and just picked up the broom and took it back out to the garage where it normally was. home alone playing video games again while he waited to go to work. He heard a thud that sounded like it came from above him like the attic or roof. He ignored it the first two times. The third time he decided to go look outside to make sure nothing was on the roof, and he did not see anything, and he said he took a quick peek in the attic (crazy!) to make sure there was not an animal in there and still saw nothing. He went back to his video games,
