I lived in a house where someone close to me died. Iit was not suicide but after living there for a few years we moved out because strange things were happening like chills and doors that were locked opening.

While living on the corner of Palo duro drive and Bushland ave. We experienced many events. Doors rattled, footsteps across the hard wood floors, dogs growled at walls, my fish tank would be messed with (food dumped in, rocks moved) and the smell of aftershave on Sunday evenings were the most common.

My neighbor told me of a man that had lived and died there, he was the person that bought the house in the 1950's from the original builders and owners. The house was built in 1920. I later met the original owners granddaughter that described the grandfather as mean and distrustful.
He had put up walnut siding in the dining room, that the next owner had evidently removed and discarded. I got the feeling that the first owner, who had died in the 70's, was arguing with the second owner, who died in 1998, over the things he had done to the house.
The doors that would slam shut were put in by the second owner. The second owner loved to sit on the back porch and the doors would mysteriously lock while we were out there. The second owner was very watchful and protective of us, especially my son who was two at the time.
