Comment by anonymous: Urban legend. No murders ever happened there. Only one family ever lived there which was built by Pantego's first mayor V. R. Shurmon Sr. When the Shurmons passed away in the1980s the family sold the house to investors. The house was a hard sale for investors because it was only a two-bedroom home. Plus repeated vandalism made selling nearly impossible. Verner Shurmon (grandson) considered purchasing the property in the mid 1990s, but the insane price tag plus the cost of repairs was too much. As another decade went by, the house was subjected to multiple mini-fires caused by party goers and squatters. It was finally fully engulfed in flames in May 2006. Officials suspect arson. The home was bulldozed. All that remains is the basement garage and detached shed.

The abandoned Masonic home at northeast corner of Collins and Division. A friend and I went to this place, gave the creeps but we did pick up good EVPs there. A woman's voice saying hello or hey.

In the old Dallas cowboys stadium there are two football players that walked around yelling and shouting. You can see in their shadow they are old cowboy players from around the 1950s. They are wearing cowboys uniforms and a football they toss back and forth.
