I lived in Athens Texas from 1982 to 1989, and I have heard a lot of strange stories about the quiet unassuming town. First of all, I have heard that there is a pentagram in the basement of the Henderson county court house.
So one day as a kid I went to the local fiddlers reunion and went to the bathroom in the court house and decided to see for myself if the pentagram was in fact actually there. To no avail, there was no pentagram just a

round concrete circle about 10 feet in diameter.
The next day I was talking to my friend's dad, and told him what I had found. He had then told me

there are other land marks in Henderson county that also had a pentagram in them , and if you marked them all on a map it would line up to be a pentagram.
On a personal experience I had , my friends and I where hanging out on thunder bridge, and all 4 of us seen an apparition on the train tracks. That freaked us all out. The next day I talked to my friend Brian's dad about what we had seen and he said that ten years prior someone had hung themselves on that
