I used to live in a neighborhood on Escarpment Road (sw) from 2011-2017. My whole time living there I had very scary experiences. Others in the household also had experiences of their own. There was a constant feeling of being watched and a very heavy atmosphere. I had constant sleep paralysis and feeling of someone trying to drag my feet from the bed.
One night my roommate and I were eating dinner when someone loudly knocked on the back door. We then also saw dark figures run across the living room numerous times. I always felt someone watching me while I slept, so I slept with my TV or a light on. I also could not do my hair or makeup without a dark shadow across the room.

Another time I was cleaning and had music on, and I heard footsteps upstairs, so I assumed my roommate was home so I turned it down out of respect suddenly my roommate walked in the house. I have read other people have had experiences around this south Austin area, and it might have been an old battlefield, but I have yet to find any info on it. This has significantly left a bad impact on my life, and I now cannot drive by the house without having a sinking feeling.

There is this abandoned old mansion at my grandparents' house. The gates open and close at random times. There is even a cemetery of around 20 dead people there, and it is just the creepiest thing ever. People have said there was a slaughter thing there, and it burned down.
