Tori and I were just having a little fun and walking around her house. We started to film because we thought it would be funny. It was all fun and games until I heard a voice call Tori's name 2 times. We went and hid behind the car because we were scared. I went to investigate when Tori was too scared. I told her I would look after her, and she came along. We went back out into the yard, and then we saw a very dark shadow. It was walking away. Then it stopped and looked at us. We ran away as we could not get a clear view. We came back inside and looked up ghost sightings in our area. We then found out there was a murderer along these houses. This was age back in 1998. Still not that far.

Around 1993 to 1998 my family lived in a house on Meadowood Circle. I was in my late teens at the time. When we moved in we introduced ourselves to the neighbors. They were an older religious couple, and what the man told us that day I wondered if I made it up in my head later, or if it really happened because well we should have known right away. I later verified this happened for real in conversation with my dad. He told us the people that lived there before us were weird. That they just up and moved out leaving all of their belongings in the middle of the night.

Yes, that should have been a big sign. We experienced all kinds of things that eventually escalated from mildly creepy to very creepy to actually scaring all of us. Earliest and most common noise I remember was an old phone ringing. It would sound like it was coming from my parents' room, but then you would go in there, and it would sound like it was coming from the wall. I would put my ear to the wall imagining a phone somehow in the wall, but it would still sound distant. It sounded the same soft distant ring no matter where you were in the house. This noise only happened during the daytime.
Some other noises experienced included trash can lid flipped usually at daytime to evening dishes crashing. However, nothing was broken. Usually in the evening various fire alarms would be going off randomly even after batteries were taken out. Late in the night we would also hear sounds coming from above even though there was no attic. In the day time there would be footsteps on carpet walking into bedroom. At night there would be sounds of breathing, walking, and metal being dragged across concrete or brick. They were very loud, obvious, and persistent. There was also scratching at the back door in the evening. (My mom was joking that it was my dead cat, which that was nice.)
My brother also saw a floating mass in his bedroom. He was young and described it as a little UFO. This sounded ridiculous, but he still sticks to that story. Door knobs turning were witnessed by my mom and brother. I saw what I thought was a young woman walking around in the living room at night. My dog was deathly afraid of something in the garage. When we tried to have her show us by taking her closer she would push away whimpering with her tail down. We looked for rat droppings or snake skins but found nothing. Shadows whipping across the room were extremely common. We thought it was kids sometimes running through our backyard, but we never saw any, and it was a weak excuse. My mother said she saw on several occasions a young boy in her room. He would just stare at her while she lay in bed.
