My family and I lived in Beeville in the early 1980s at a house on N. McKinley and W. Bates, and it was spooky to say the least. I was very young, so I don't remember much except for that last bedroom. It was always ice cold even in the heat of summer, and there was no central AC. My mom told me stories of hearing footsteps at night, faucets turning themselves on and off, kitchen cabinets doors opening and closing at night when everyone was asleep, and

a shadow she frequently saw. I always wondered if anyone else had any experiences in that house after us.

I hear people talking. It sometimes feels like my legs are being pulled while I'm lying in bed. I feel something on the bed. There are dark shadows in the hallway and several have seen a man in dark clothes like possibly a military man dressed in Confederate clothing wearing a hat.

Where do I begin? I used to live at the Eagles Landing apartments on N. Saint Mary's Street in 2013-2014 before they were remodeled. Once we moved in I always felt uneasy. It was as if something was there with me. My neighbors always said they had electrical problems there, and their pluming was horrible. I on the other hand just got the occasional hairs on the neck sticking up, feeling like someone was watching you, and seeing something in the corner of your eye.
