Comment by Janet: This is true. I worked in that same building. I heard the woman crying. I worked as a custodian after hours. That building was haunted. Especially the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors. The elevators too.
Comment by Rabbit: Even though it's been remodeled and is now Bell County Sheriffs office the 4th floor is still haunted.

Fishing on Belton Lake with my two sons in about late October of 2006. We were on our way to the hot spot we found 3-4 days prior. We kept it slow and close to the shore, but we heard strange noises coming from the wood line.
We killed the boat and sat for a while to listen. All of a sudden we hear rambling of bushes and out came the strangest creature I have ever seen. It was able to stand on 2 legs but definitely wasn't sasquatch.
It's fur was matted thickly and was an off white in color. It stayed there watching us for the better half of 10 minutes. Finally it turned and walked in the wood line never to be seen again. To this day I will not go on shore in the general area of the sighting and don't plan on trespassing on it's territory.
