Comment by Sarah: I've lived in the Killeen area for almost 20 years I have heard many reports of a goat like creature roaming the wooded areas of Lake Belton. I am unclear as to where exactly these sittings take place but I can count at least a dozen I have heard myself.

Comment by Bub: When I was a kid we were going to Belton. We were going down 5th Street to go up through Taylor's valley. Anyway as we drove by this old house we saw something laying in the yard. It jumped up and my mom looked at her best friend and said what was that.
She turned around but it was gone. There were 6 of us in the car. Two adults 4 kids ranging from 12 to 5. Everyone of us saw it. This was early 1980s. Honestly it seemed too big to be a goat man. Plus it looked more half man half horse to me but maybe it was the same thing.

An old friend of mine told me a story about this time her and another friend had gone out driving after midnight. Now, they had heard of this story where a witch was supposed to haunt an area that was presently occupied by a baseball field, or something.
