I'm staying at the La Quinta in Belton, TX right next to the Expo center. Walking my dog by the abandoned shack on the opposite end of the parking lot we both experienced some spooky stuff. While walking back I noticed a lady walking by it so when she came back around I asked her what she thought. She said she and her husband experienced the same things.
Just remember it's hotter here in Texas so when you feel coldness outside you know something is in there.

This happened last year in the summer time. My boyfriend and I were homeless and were staying here and there! Well a family member of mine was a custodian at one of the church's downtown. Anyhow, one night we had no place to go, so we went into the church and slept there! Night one we felt uneasy. We would hear what sounded like footsteps and keys jangling off in the distance. We all remained quiet because we thought someone had come in. Come morning we left, and all was normal. Well, we ended up staying a few other nights when we couldn't get a room. The last night there was when it hit the fan. Me and the boyfriend went in. We laid our heads down and I needed to use the restroom, so I went. I had our cat with us. All of sudden I heard movement in the next room over which is where the pastor goes to change.
Night prior my boyfriend came that way and startled me, so I thought it was him. I waited and nobody came. My cat started crying loudly scaring me. I exited the restroom. I looked to my left where that room was, and the door was opened, and the light was on. Mind you, every time we entered we always checked and made sure no one was around. When I saw that I had a sense of dread. When I went to check to see if it was my man he was fast asleep. Next hour I sat there praying that whatever it was wouldn't come near us. I tried to sleep but only got thirty minutes and woke up. Then I heard banging on the top floor, and I woke boyfriend up and high tailed it When I went to get my cat from the restroom the light was off, and door was shut. I was so scared that I couldn't tell him anything till we were outside.
I did research and found out that before it was a church it had been an opera house. The one other night we had come into the dining area, and we just sat down. We heard banging on the second floor. I'm not talking lightly either, and I sense that it was saying get out!!!! After that I never wanted to set foot in there again. I know what I felt was not a nice spirit either because one night my niece and nephew stayed with us in there, and they were spooked!.
