In the Big Spring High School auditorium, an old man by the name of Herald was fixing a light on the stage. He fell and his ghost still haunts the kids at Big Spring High School today.

The lady of the lake is often seen on the north side of town standing in a small boat as she paddles her boat, looking for her dead children, presumably drowned in the lake on the north side of town.
