out what it was or why it did that, all I know is it was very real. We had been to that same motel twice prior to that incident and once after that time, but nothing else ever happened. Submitted by Allison
Comment by Tim: What you could have experienced -- and this has happened to me on several occasions (not in Brownsville) --was a case of sleep paralysis. It's a state of sleep/non-sleep in which the person can be ''awake'' but cannot move or talk; and there have been many reports of seeing a creature in that dream state perched on their chests. This is what happened to me.
Comment by anonymous: Tim, I was still awake I was not asleep. I could not sleep that night. Plus I actually felt the bed move. I felt someone or something actually crawl up onto the bed. It took like two steps up onto the corner of the bed. An this is not the only paranormal thing that has ever happened to me. Look up Baytown Texas ghost sightings. Linda Vista is haunted, my bed would shake a lot and we would hear footsteps at night. Submitted by Anno

When I used to be 11 years old my family and I lived in apartments. My mother is a very light sleeper so she would wake up in the middle of the night over little noises; such as the air conditioner turning on or when our loud fridge would make noises.
