photo of my cat while we lived there only to discover a grinning man in the background. I only moved a block and a half away from the place, and I haven't heard the man call his dog ever again. We don't like to even look at it when we pass.

I was cutting firewood early one evening in the Montell Silver Creek area. I had my trusted rifle and 2 pit bulls, so I had nothing to fear. Wrong! It was cloudy, and it got real cold, and my dogs started sniffing the air and showing their teeth. I decided to load up my wood and dogs and get out of that wood break. A feeling of extreme fear came over me; I can't explain what was actually happening, but my instinct told me to load up my pickup and skedaddle! I felt like someone or something sadistic was watching me. This happened in the fall of 1985 near Montell.

Traveling on county road 390 a dirt road across the river heading back into town from Camp Wood hills. While traveling at 8:30 am on a clear day we saw an 8ft black image on the road. The image slid off to the right as we approached.
Solid black and not a shadow. Very weird.... Seen by two people. Initially didn't want to comment as we are not believers in ghost or spirits but this could not be explaine.
