It wasn't uncommon for things to be moved about. One night I heard the noise of someone in the living room pulling all the VHS movies out of the cabinet. I believe we had every single Disney movie to date, so it was a considerable amount of noise. I got up and walked down the hallway to the living room. I was being very quiet because I wanted to finally catch whatever one of my kids in the act. I tiptoed past their closed bedrooms and made it to the corner.

The noise was still going but not as enthusiastic. It was as though the culprit had emptied the cabinet and was now pursuing the titles as they lay on

the floor. The doors were behind me, and the only way to them was through me. I poked my head around the corner, the noise stopped, and the only one in the living room was me. I flipped the lights on in the hall, the living room, and the kitchen. I was alone. Needless to say, I didn't sleep at all that night.
There were incidences of the beds shaking, shadows lurking about, a shadow hand (very creepy), and glowing eyes. This went on for years
