I was coming home from San Marcos around 8 pm two years ago. It was around Nov. I was on FM 32 close to Fisher when I saw a thick black mass stood on the road in front of me. It was about the size of a large size man. I hit my brakes because I wasn't sure if it was human or animal. The black mass went right through my SUV. Scared me so bad that I will not travel FM 32 at night anymore. Submitted by Leticia

As a kid I spent every summer on my God father's ranch (Buckhorn Ranch) on Mail Route Rd. At the foot of the devil's backbone. On a camping trip with my parents at the back of the ranch. Just as it started to get dark we heard the unmistakable sound of a large group of horses running at full speed towards us. Not normal for horses to run in the dark unless they're scarred or made to do so. As they got closer and louder, my dad had my mom and myself get up next to the truck, so we wouldn't get trampled. Just then the entire ground shook. They ran right passed us. You heard and felt it. We could hear the saddles and metal creaking and clinging, but even as they passed us we never seen one single horse or rider. You could hear them, feel them, even smell them but never seen them. We believed it was the spirits of cavalry that once long ago had ridden in that area.

Comment by Pj: Marie as a pre-teen/teen I believe I worked on your grandfather's ranch. Hopefully it's the same ranch. If so oh what fun!!! Every summer Buckhorn Ranch was the destination for many kids from the inner city housing projects. Kids from various places in Texas would stay for 1 week at a time. Some kids would sleep in cabins; others in tee-pees. Oh the things we'd hear and swore we saw on Buckhorn ranch!!!! If we are talking about the same ranch please email me - drpwjoliver @gmail .com.
Comment by Ashley: I lived right on the other side of the high school. Not far at all from the area you speak of. I experienced a lot of paranormal moments. I'll never forget the horses.
