Several years ago I had to pick up my nephews at my brother's restaurant. I was driving along Devils Backbone at around 9 pm. I looked to my left and noticed a tall man in a long coat and hat walking along the side of the road. When I turned to get a better look at him he was gone!.

Ghostly sightings near Wimberly. Confederate soldiers passing through. Was on my way to Blanco, around 6:30 Saturday night. Just left from Canyon Lake. As I was passing Wimberly, it got dark. It was now 7:30 at night. There was a chill in the air so I turned on the heater in the car. 72 degrees was what I put it on.
As I was just driving, I kind of felt light headed. So I pulled over and got out to stretch my legs. I grew up around the wilderness and the Hill Country of Texas, and I know what is out there. As long as you don't mess with the wildlife, Mother Earth will keep you safe. I'm not afraid of getting out, especially on this road. I got back in, checked my mirrors and kept driving. Little did I know, I wasn't alone. My heater was still on, but all of a sudden I got these chills on my arm and shoulder, all I could think of was cold chills, which I get frequently.|
I look over and there is an old decrepit woman sitting in the passenger side. I freaked out and nearly flipped my Sierra trying to stop. I closed my eyes, and she was gone, but in the middle of the road was a different story all in its own. 4 Confederate soldiers marching to the beat of the drums. And they vanished into the moonlit sky. I basically freaked out at this point, but I have come face to face with spirits far darker than they. Keep for warning, as I have said in my last comment, beware the hidden dangers within the Hill Country. It is just as frightening as strikingly beautiful.
