Has anybody else heard playing children at night in the middle of the woods? Myself and my family have heard it on several occasions. Back in the late eighties and early nineties off of highway 7 on Smith Road on the bottom my cousin still on 17 acres there at the time, my father owned a little over 30. We always heard the sounds of little kids playing as if they were on our property. Submitted by David

I went to Screaming Lady Bridge about 17 years ago about 2 am in the morning after Halloween with some friends. We stopped on the road, and our speakers in the car started making noises with the car off. Then all of a sudden it got really windy. We all got a really eerie feeling and decided to leave. The car wouldn't start! We were stuck on the bridge for about 15-20 minutes trying to get it to start. We kept hearing stuff moving closer and closer. Then we started getting an overwhelming smell of something dead. A friend finally pushed the car off the bridge. When we got it off the bridge and tried it started.

The screaming lady bridge is on a dirt road in between Normangee TX and hwy 45 on OSR. It is not in Centerville or North Zulch. Scary place at night and to be walking alone. Story goes if you honk your horn on the bridge she will let you know she is there. I dare you to try it late at night and alone. Submitted by Brian
Comment by Lauren: Which dirt road is it exactly on?.
