house without turning on every light as I go at night. This whole town is haunted. Do some research at the number of sudden teenage deaths in this town. The numbers are staggering. I lost so many friends even a boyfriend before the age of 18. There is something terrible in this town. It is haunted. No doubt. I just don't know anyone who's done the investigations that I truly think need to happen. Submitted by Ashley

I went to Pinkerton Elementary in 1993. I lived next door on the west side of the school. Every morning while getting ready for school I would look out my window and see a man standing under a tree looking out toward the woods. The man was about 90% see through. He wore a maroon suit with a very tall maroon hat. He was Caucasian and looked almost like an Abe Lincoln type appearance. He had dark beard and a thin face.

Every morning when I would see him he would turn his face to look at me. For a moment he looked almost sad, and I could tell he was acknowledging me. Then he would turn and look back toward the woods. I later learned there was and is still an old railroad track that ran behind those woods at Grapevine Creek.
I was not the only one to see him when I would look out at him in the morning. My mother would ask what I was looking at, so I told her I was looking at the man by the tree at which point my sister and mother both looked. My sister later told me that when she asked our mother about it she had told her to tell me they didn't see anything. Submitted by Amy
