My family and I went to Heritage Park to look at the homes, well we viewed them all and read their history but when we came upon the sidbury home I froze on the porch. I felt shaky and had a sick feeling in my gut. I didn't say anything but my husband turned and said to me 'lets go something isn't right'. I could hardly walk to the car, I was terrified .
Funny though we googled the homes history and found that it is believed to be haunted by a child. I've never in my life been so afraid . Has anyone out there that experienced this?.

Comment by John: I have visited the Heritage Park Sidbury House in Corpus Christi Texas. There is a ghost of a small boy in the upstairs bedroom. On the back porch of the house is a strong vortex. If somebody takes your picture while you are on the back steps any lights you are holding appear distorted and bent.
If you stand in the vortex and take a picture from in it outward. All lights outside the vortex are blurry and badly distorted and sometimes you get weird ghost like images on the pictures. Give it a try.
I have taken pictures from inside and from outside the vortex with very strange results. The vortex makes a person feel uncomfortable and some people get sick.

Comment by Diane: Thanx for responding, I often wondered since then why I felt frozen, scared, and sick. It was the front porch . My husband felt it also but my daughter felt nothing, she was able to run around looking through the windows . Why was I stopped ??.
Comment by Anon: He's right the more you look into this the worse it gets. The best thing to do is to ask you're kid now and then what they experience. It's crazy but they can actually become friends with this thing. Or whatever the spirit is.
Happened with my cousin. And it is something to ''trip on'' just not to that extent. Keep an eye out and try to keep to yourself.
