Lilly has a strong presence you can sometimes hear her laughing in the Cotton Center gymnasium. If you are alone you can feel her watching staring but it is a warm sensation. You can also get the chills, and I believe that is a way you can sense if she is there.
Do not let this overwhelming presence fool you because Lilly is a sweet child who wishes to be treated like the rest of us.

The Cotton Center ghost has been reported running up and down the halls. They are thought to be a little girl's presence, and strange things will happen late at night.

Comment by Anonymous: Lilly is the little girl's name. It was given to her by some of the staff. Whether you believe this or not is totally up to you. In the elementary building you can sometimes hear a child's laughter coming from the classroom. You can also hear running in the halls, and sometimes you can see from the corner of your eye a glimpse of the little girl. I have heard the rustling of paper in some of the room or the writing on a chalkboard that no longer exist.

On high 37, 6 miles east of CC on county road i an apparition appears on the first lake bottom. On 37 you will turn right. The spirit will cross the road right in front of you.
