I grew up on Jester Street. Westmoreland and Davis. The whole family lived around up and down the block in these creepy old houses with very small bedrooms. We were always told it was the Jester Street insane asylum in the 1920s.
All of us kids grew up seeing dark figures, hearing squeaky floors, curtains moving, and the feeling of being watched. It was a very negative block to live on. Our extended family all lived on the same block there were about 6 different houses close together.
We had even seen a pair of legs running up and down the stairs. These houses all mysteriously burned down. I'm glad. They were 'unhappy' sad houses. They burned in the 1990s. New houses are built on that land but every time I pass Jester and Westmoreland I have bad feelings and the hair on my neck will rise.|

In Meridian High School when I was a senior in 2000 my friends and I were staying after school for basketball practice and when I was walking down to hallway near the office I heard footsteps. All of the sudden a girl in an old cheerleader uniform appeared down the hallway.
I just saw her walk to a locker and Vanish into thin air. To this day I get scared thinking about my encounter.
